Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap capable of suppressing submerging of a hair catcher in seal water without causing the deterioration of functionality of the hair catcher.SOLUTION: A drain trap comprises: a trap body, which has an inlet port connected to an exhaust port of a washing place, an inflow port connected to an exhaust port of a bathtub and an outflow port connected to a drain pipe, and outflows water entered from the inlet port and the inflow port from the outflow port, and enables a passage from the inlet port and the inflow port to the outflow port to be blocked by seal water; and a hair catcher which is detachably fitted to the inlet port. The trap body is a bottomed cylinder having the inlet port on its upper part and outflows the entered water toward the outflow port and has a seal water storage part which can store the seal water inside. The seal water storage part has a projection which extends to the vicinity of the bottom part of the hair catcher fitted to the inlet port from the bottom face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
