Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium winding device and a medium winding method preventing occurrence of co-lifting and jam due to sticking of a scrap and further capable of suppressing generation of noise due to free fall of a tension bar.SOLUTION: A medium winding device communicably connected to a printing device which prints on a medium having a first peeling member and a second peeling member peelably and temporarily attached on a mount comprises: a tensile force apply member for applying a predetermined tensile force to the medium; a second peeling member winding member for winding up the second peeling member peeled from the mount; a mount winding member for winding up the mount on which the first peeling member remains; and a winding control part for controlling driving of the second peeling member winding member and the mount winding member. The winding control part stops the driving of the second peeling member winding member and the mount winding member when receiving a notification that the medium in the printing device becomes a predetermined medium length from the device, thereby the medium winding device and a method using it are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
