Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a converter from excessively boosting and outputting an actual voltage input from a fuel cell.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell for generating electric power using reaction gas; a voltage sensor for measuring a voltage output by the fuel cell; a converter for boosting an input voltage input from the fuel cell; a secondary cell capable of charging and discharging electric power; an air compressor for supplying the reaction gas to the fuel cell using electric power input from the secondary cell; and a controller. The controller causes the converter to boost a voltage output by the fuel cell when a measured value VI of the voltage of the fuel cell by the voltage sensor is in excess of a threshold value VII expressed by a numerical expression I shown by the following Mathematical 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
