Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of ammonia concentration after its correction.SOLUTION: A multi-gas sensor control device 9 [hereinafter called as a control device 9] in a urea SCR system 1 including an SCR catalyst 4, a urea water injector 5 and a multi-gas sensor 8 [ammonia detection part and NOx detection part] calculates a downstream ammonia concentration that is concentration of ammonia contained in exhaust gas discharged from the SCR catalyst 4 on the basis of a detection result of the ammonia detection part. Then, the control device 9 controls the urea water injector 5 so as to supply urea to SCR catalyst 4 when it is kept at fuel cut state. In addition, the control device 9 corrects the calculation result of downstream ammonia concentration on the basis of a detection result of the NOx detection part after urea is supplied to the SCR catalyst 4 under control of the urea water injector 5 performed by the control device 9 and a concentration of oxygen contained in the exhaust gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
