PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of efficiently displaying a display information representing an attention level of a following vehicle.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle includes a following vehicle information acquiring part 360 which can acquire following vehicle information that represents there is a following vehicle behind an own vehicle, a process part P which determines an attention level (low, middle, high) of the following vehicle based on the following vehicle information, and a display part 100 capable of displaying display information NT representing the attention level. The processing part P can generate display information NT so that the display information NT contains advancing animation elements K1, K2, K3, K4 representing movement of the advancing direction of the own vehicle or the following vehicle as well as a background animation element BG representing blinking of background color of the advancing animation element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
