PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of improving estimation accuracy of a full charge capacity Fc of a battery 4 by waiting for an energization start until an SOC is corrected and starting the energization after the SOC is corrected and a power storage method.SOLUTION: A power storage device 1 capable of estimating the full charge capacity Fc of the battery 4 includes a processing section 3 that, when detecting that the power storage device 1 and a charging device 2 are connected before the SOC of the battery 4 is corrected, waits for an energization start until the SOC is corrected, and starts energization after the SOC is corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
