Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance steam turbine by restricting the flow turbulence produced after passing through the outer clearance of a shroud.SOLUTION: A steam turbine comprises: a shroud provided at the tip of a moving blade; a shroud opposite wall surface provided on the outside of the shroud in the radial direction so as to face the shroud; a stationary blade adjacent to the downstream side of the moving blade in the axial direction; and a stationary blade support wall surface provided on the outside of the shroud in the radial direction for supporting the stationary blade from the outside in the radial direction. The shroud opposite wall surface includes an inclined plane inclined so that the distance from the rotation axis of the steam turbine becomes larger toward the downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
