Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for an applicator for uterine intracavitary irradiation, which is simply configured, and which can increase operation efficiency by restraining a visual field from being narrowed during insertion toward a uterine cavity.SOLUTION: A spacer 6, which has a first cylindrical member 2, is configured to be capable of being inserted into the uterus from the side of the vaginal opening so that the first cylindrical member 2 can be arranged in a uterine cavity. The spacer, which can be attached to/detached from the first cylindrical member 2 from the lateral side of the first cylindrical member 2, has a predetermined diameter dimension larger than that of the first cylindrical member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
