Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool which removes protrusions of a processed face on both sides of a cutting locus while continuing vibration cutting means which cuts a work-piece while vibrating a cutting tool relatively to the work-piece in a processing feed direction, and enhances a roundness and a process tolerance of the work-piece, and a control device for the machine tool.SOLUTION: A machine tool 100 comprises: a cutting tool 130, rotation means 110, feeding means 150 and 160 and vibration means 150 and 160; and a control device 180 for the machine tool. In the machine tool, the feeding means 150 and 160 and the vibration means 150 and 160 are linked with each other, and the vibration means 150 and 160 vibrate the cutting tool 130 and a work-piece W in a direction crossing a processing feed direction in addition to reciprocating vibration in the processing feed direction so that the amount of cutting of the work-piece W is increased toward an inflection part of forward motion and rearward motion in reciprocating vibration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
