Abstract:
The present invention is a reel holding device (1) that is used in combination with an auto-loading feeder (8), that holds two tape reels (R1, R2), and that is provided with: a carrying rod (2) comprising a rotating shaft section (25) in the center thereof in the length direction and, on the individual ends thereof, a first reel support section (21) and a second reel support section (22) supporting one tape reel each; a support member (3) that rotatably supports the carrying rod; a one-way rotation mechanism (4) that allows the carrying rod to rotate only in one direction (M3) and that enables the first reel support section to move from below to a distant position when said first reel support section is in a near position while enabling the second reel support section to simultaneously move from above to the near position when said second reel support section is in the distant position; and a positioning mechanism (5) that positions the carrying rod in a specific rotation position. In this way, the carrying rod does not rotate in the other direction and does not begin rotating freely, and the reel holding device thus has high operational reliability. In addition, the reel holding device has good usability because work relating to tape reel replacement is reduced.
