Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door whose erection can be made in an easy way.SOLUTION: A folding door 1 according to the present invention includes a hanging side door 19, a head side door 21 connected to the hanging side door 19, and pivot hinges 25 and 27 provided on the hanging side door 19 and the head side door 21, respectively. Each of the pivot hinges 25 and 27 has a pivot 31 and a receptacle 33. The pivot 31 has a rail end portion engaging groove 37a which is movable up and down with respect to the receptacle 33, as well as rotatable about a vertical axis, and which serves for being positioned to the rail 15, a rail sliding groove 37b intersecting the rail end engaging groove 37a, and a stopper abutting portion 39. The receptacle 33 can be attached with a stopper 29 that prevents the pivot 31 from moving down until the rail 15 is inserted into the rail sliding groove 37a by coming into contact with the stopper abutting portion 39. The stopper 29 is attached to the receptacle 33 of the pivot hinge 25 of the hanging side door 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
