Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein capable of exhibiting cell permeability even when the number of amino acid residues is small and maintaining its structure even at high temperature.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a protein in which, in part of a repeat sequence of a cycle of seven amino acids, a small hydrophobic amino acid residue of the first and/or fourth side chain from the N terminus to the C terminus, an amino acid residue having a hydrophilic side chain, or an amino acid residue having an electric charge on an unbranched chain is replaced with an amino acid residue with a large hydrophobic side chain (e.g., leucine, arginine, isoleucine, valine, or lysine).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
