Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a free surface flow to cover a whole surface of a structure.SOLUTION: A wire 120 is spirally winded around a surface of a tube 110 as a structure, and a mesh 130 is winded outside the wire. A supply port mesh 140 is arranged at an upper end of the structure outside the mesh 130. This structure allows a part of a fluid running from the supply port mesh 140 to flow along the surface of the tube 110 and a part of the fluid to flow outside the mesh 130. The fluid on the surface of the tube 110 spirally flows along the wire 120 to entirely cover the surface of the tube 110, while the fluid is prevented from diffusing by the mesh 130 and flows outside through the mesh. Consequently, a free surface flow to cover the whole surface of the mesh 130 is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
