PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label issuing device capable of surely printing specific information to be printed on a label.SOLUTION: When print data associated with the identification information of a label scheduled to be issued is printed on a label R located at the head of a label continuous body PR, the label R located at the head is transferred to the reading position of a scanner 20, and identification information stored in the identification part of the label R is read by the scanner 20.
