Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow data indicated by a payload to be reconstituted from image data imaged by a camera asynchronously with transmission of light communication data.SOLUTION: A receiving device of one embodiment comprises an image sensor, first and second extraction means, and reconstitution means. The image sensor comprises a plurality of optical detection elements, and obtains image data by the plurality of optical detection elements sequentially receiving light in a predetermined frame period. The first extraction means extracts data corresponding to a part of a payload included in light communication data from image data obtained in a first frame period. The second extraction means extracts data not extracted by the first extraction means out of the payload from image data obtained in a frame period different from the first frame period. The reconstitution means reconstitutes data to be transmitted by the payload from the data individually extracted by the first and second extraction means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
