Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of advantageously manufacturing a woody molded body having a natural and beautiful wood grain pattern on a design face while sufficiently maintaining quality originally obtained by wood.SOLUTION: A hydrogen bond between fiber cells constituting wood is cut by impregnating a resin solution I containing at least a melamine resin precursor into wood, then a rein solution II which contains a resin material copolymerizable with the melamine resin precursor, dose not enter into a cell wall constituting the wood and has a molecular size which is a size capable of entering into a conduit thereof is prepared, the resin solution II is impregnated into a surface corresponding to a design face of a target wood molded body in the wood of which the hydrogen bond between the fiber cells are cut and then the target wood molded body is prepared by following a fluid molding operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
