Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine iron oxide hollow particle which is uniform fine spherical particle and has apparent density in a certain range and high compressive strength and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a fine iron oxide hollow particle having a shell zoning hollow rooms, almost spherical shape, average particle diameter of 0.1 to 10 μm, film thickness of 1000 nm or less, apparent density of 0.2 to 0.8 g/cm, compressive strength of 5 to 15 MPa, wherein 95% or more of the components constituting the particle is FeO. There is provided a method for manufacturing the fine iron oxide hollow particle by a spray thermal decomposition method for example by spraying iron salt solution, drying and thermal decomposing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
