Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic-transfer toaster which can automatically toast an ingredient for sushi while preventing an object scattered during a toasting process from unwantedly attaching on a surface of a plate.SOLUTION: A plate transfer device and a toaster for toasting an ingredient on a plate are provided. Right-left pair of covers for covering an upper peripheral edge of the plate transferred on the transfer device are rotatably provided so as to sandwich a transfer path. An interlocking rotation mechanism is provided for interlocking a transfer operation of the transfer device and a rotational operation of the covers. As the plate is transferred by the transfer device, a transfer entrance opens between both covers at the time when the plate is positioned in front of a toasting region of the toaster, and the transfer entrance closes at the time when the ingredient on the plate is positioned in the toasting region. Both covers cover a peripheral part on the plate except the region where the ingredient is placed. As the plate moves from he toasting region toward rear side, a transfer outlet opens between the covers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
