Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article in which a surface sheet has an uneven structure, whereby discomfort during wear is suppressed and fit can easily be enhanced. An absorbent article (1, 10) includes an excretory-opening corresponding region (29) overlapping with an absorbent (12) in a thickness direction T and corresponding to an excretory opening in plan view, and excretory-opening adjacent regions (39, 39') present on both outsides in a width direction W of the excretory-opening corresponding region (29), a surface sheet (8) extending to the excretory-opening corresponding region (29) having cushion parts (45, 45') which protrude to both outsides in the width direction W in at least the excretory-opening adjacent regions (39, 39') and have edge parts (7, 7') as proximal ends thereof, the cushion parts (45, 45') being folded back at outside end parts (47, 47') and joined to the sheet member via joining parts (49, 49') further to the inside in the width direction than the outside end parts (47, 47'), and the surface sheet (8) having an uneven structure in at least the excretory-opening corresponding region (29) and not having an uneven structure in the outside end parts (47, 47').
