Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost cooling method for a steel sheet at low temperature, which can suppress the generation of stretcher strain without deteriorating the quality of the steel sheet surface.SOLUTION: A method for cooling a steel sheet at 50-300°C in temperature being conveyed in a vertical direction is provided. Water is jetted on both surfaces of the steel sheet in the width direction from at least two slit nozzles which are provided on both sides of the steel sheet and have openings arranged across the width direction of the steel sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
