Abstract:
Provided is a video information storage device wherein the amount of storage can be reduced. The video information storage device is provided with: a video information main-body storage unit that stores video information of a monitor camera; a video information input unit that receives input of the video information of the monitor camera; a video information temporary storage unit that temporarily stores the video information inputted to the video information input unit; a video information similarity degree determination unit that determines a degree of similarity between the video information temporarily stored in the video information temporary storage unit and the past video information stored in the video information main-body storage unit; and a video information deletion unit that, in a case where the value of the degree of similarity determined by the video information similarity degree determination unit is greater than a predetermined value, deletes, from the video information temporary storage unit, the video information temporarily stored in the video information temporary storage unit.
