Abstract:
To provide an exhaust treatment device for a diesel engine, capable of reducing dissipation power required for heating DOCs.SOLUTION: The exhaust treatment device for the diesel engine, having an exhaust passage 2, and DOCs 3 arranged in the exhaust passage 2, includes an IH coil 4 for applying induction heating to the DOCs 3, the DOCs 3 being plurally provided, the plurality of DOCs 3 being arranged in parallel to the direction of exhaust gas 8 passing through the exhaust passage 2, each DOC 3 being individually encircled at its outer periphery by the IH coil (4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
