PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus and an exhaust gas treatment method which can reduce an accumulation amount of a nitrogen oxide caused component to a COabsorbing liquid, and can reduce an increase in cost of a facility.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus 1 includes: an exhaust gas line Lin which a combustion exhaust gas Gdischarged from a power generation facility 10 flows; an exhaust heat recovery boiler 11 recovering exhaust heat of the combustion exhaust gas G; a branched exhaust gas line Lprovided so as to be connected between the front stage and the rear stage of the exhaust heat recovery boiler 11 in a main exhaust gas line L; a nitrogen oxide removal section 120 that removes a nitrogen oxide in an integrated combustion exhaust gas Gin which the combustion exhaust gas Gflowing in the main exhaust gas line Land a combustion exhaust gas Gflowing in a branched exhaust gas line Lare integrated with each other; an integrated exhaust heat recovery boiler 12 which recovers exhaust heat of the integrated combustion exhaust gas Gfrom which the nitrogen oxide is removed; and a COrecovery section 13 which recovers COin the integrated combustion exhaust gas Gthat recovers the exhaust gas by the integrated exhaust heat recovery boiler 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
