Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an absorber which can determine an abnormality of fiber-stacking of a compact material easily with a high degree of accuracy.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an absorber for manufacturing an absorber 3 by using a fiber-stacking device 1, having a rotational drum 2 having an accumulating recessed part 22, a duct 4 for feeding a compact material on an outer peripheral surface of the rotational drum 2, and a scuffing roll 42 for scuffing an excess amount of the compact material in the duct 4, for fiber-stacking in the accumulating recessed part 22 by suction from the inside is provided. The scuffing roll 42 is connected to an AC servo motor 9, and the AC servo motor 9 is controlled by an AC servo amplifier 91. A motor current value of the AC servo motor 9 for rotating the scuffing roll 42 in scuffing the excess amount of the compact material is obtained from a pulse signal fed-back to the AC servo amplifier 91 from the AC servo motor 9, and the fiber-stacking of the compact material is determined to be abnormal based on the motor current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
