Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer member which can advantageously further improve the heat exchange performance with a simple structure, and to provide a heat sink excellent in cooling characteristics and a heat exchanger excellent in heat exchange characteristics using such a heat transfer member.SOLUTION: In a heat transfer member including a heat transfer surface which contacts the flow of a liquid coolant to conduct heat exchange with the liquid coolant, two or more deep recesses each having a V-shaped planar shape, which is narrowed from the upstream side to the downstream side of the flow of the liquid coolant, formed such that the depth gradually becomes deeper, and expands toward the upstream side of the flow of the liquid coolant by a rising wall at the end of such gradual change of the depth, are disposed on the heat transfer surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
