Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that improves the workability of operating battery replacement work in a battery-operated gas detector having an explosion-proof construction.SOLUTION: Provided is a gas detector comprising a body casing 10 of explosion-proof construction having a battery compartment space 31a for accommodating an operating battery B separately from other spaces and a gas detection unit U1 for detecting a prescribed gas to be detected. The body casing 10 includes an access opening 10a on the front side, as well as a lid 2 by which the access opening 10a can be opened and closed, and the battery compartment space 31a is constructed so as for the operating battery B to be removable through the access opening 10a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
