Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit short-circuit inspection time from increasing by simplification of a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for inspecting a fuel cell system 10 which includes: a fuel cell 20; a cooling device 50 having cooling water for cooling the fuel cell 20 and an ion exchanger 57 for removing metal ions in the cooling water; and electric components which are grounded together with the cooling device 50. This method includes the steps of: passing the cooling water through the ion exchanger 57 and obtaining insulation resistance of the fuel cell system 10; and determining that the electrical components are short-circuited when a rate of change in the insulation resistance to time when the cooling water is passed through the ion exchanger 57 is less than a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
