PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage use of an information processing apparatus by an external service while allowing access to the external service.SOLUTION: When there is a service request from a Web browser 305 to a Web application 1001, the Web application 1001 requests service from a service provider 308 of an MFP 110 in response to the request. The service provider 308 acquires a URL of a destination from the Web browser 305 and compares the same with a URL of a service host described in a manifest file of a cooperation permitting application 307.
