Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent short circuit of a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal of each battery caused by malfunction of a switch for switching between parallel connection and serial connection of each battery in a battery pack having a plurality of batteries.SOLUTION: One end of a switch SW1 is connected with one end of a battery B1. The other end of the switch SW1 is connected with one end of a battery B2. One end of a switch SW2 is connected with the other end of the battery B1. The other end of the switch SW2 is connected with the other end of the battery B2. An anode of a diode D is connected with the other end of the battery B1. A cathode of the diode D1 is connected with the other end of the battery B2. When the battery B1 and the battery B2 are connected in parallel, a controller 11 conducts the switches SW1 and SW2. When the battery B1 and the battery B2 are connected in series, the controller 11 interrupts the switches SW1 and SW2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
