Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified conjugated diene polymer that makes it possible to prepare a vulcanized rubber excelling at rubber composition processability as well as fuel economy and wet grip performance.SOLUTION: A modified conjugated diene polymer has a block polymer having a structure derived from at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the following (A) vinylsilane compound and the following (B) aromatic vinyl compound, at a terminal of a conjugated diene polymer chain: (A) a vinylsilane compound having a group '-SiRRR', where Ris a monovalent group having at least one of a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom and the like and having no active hydrogen, and Rand Reach are a monovalent group having at least one of a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom and the like and having no active hydrogen, or a hydrocarbyl group; (B) an aromatic vinyl compound having at least one of a nitrogen atom and the like, with no active hydrogen bound to the nitrogen atom and the like.
