Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to detection of a route existing around a mobile and to control of the mobile as a result by representing a movement route along which the mobile is to move, in a lightweight and easily available data form.SOLUTION: A steering support system comprises: a route point data storage part dividing a route along which a mobile is to move into multiple portions and storing route point data that are data calculating a latitude and a longitude of a predetermined position in a width direction crossing an extension direction of the movement route regarding each of the portions; a current position acquisition part for iteratively acquiring a latitude and a longitude of a current position of the mobile; and a control part operating a steering device included in the mobile in such a manner that an extension direction of the movement route discriminated from the route point data regarding multiple portions of the route which are stored in the route point data storage part and which the mobile is enter, and a movement direction of the mobile discriminated from time series of the latitude and the longitude of the current position of the mobile acquired by the current position acquisition part become substantially parallel, or outputting a steering amount or a steering direction required for making the extension direction of the movement route and the movement direction of the mobile substantially parallel in a mode appealing a visual sense or an auditory sense of a passenger on the mobile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
