Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug device that shortens the time up to drainage completion while suppressing drain water from overflowing from a drain trap of a wash place floor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a drain plug device fitted to a drain port part of a bathtub, the drain plug device comprising: a plug lid fitted to the drain port part; a support shaft having the plug lid fitted to an upper end and capable of moving up and down with respect to the bathtub; an operation part switching the support shaft between a descent state in which the plug lid covers the drain port part and an ascent state in which the plug lid leaves the drain port part upward to open the drain port part; and an elastic part applying, when a downward load is placed on the support shaft in the ascent state, elastic force to the support shaft against the load, the elastic part being characterized in having a larger elastic modulus from an intermediate state between the ascent state and descent state to the descent state than from the ascent state to the intermediate state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
