Abstract:
To provide a flow rate variable valve capable of switching a discharge amount at hand while visually checking a surface to be repaired, and preventing occurrence of flashback, and a fireproof material spraying device using the flow rate variable valve.SOLUTION: A flow rate variable valve capable of selectively increasing/decreasing a flow rate, has a flow passage of a large-diameter hole and a flow passage of a small-diameter hole respectively penetrated in a direction perpendicular to the rotational axis of a ball that is rotatably supported in a valve case, wherein an outlet diameter of the small diameter hole is made larger than an inlet diameter thereof. Also, the present invention can be regarded as a fireproof material spraying device and a fireproof material spraying method to which the flow rate variable valve is applied. According to this configuration, a nozzle man can switch the diameter of the valve at hand while visually checking the state of a repaired portion, and can switch to a required discharge amount, and there is no risk of flashback.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
