Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a brake which can enlarge a dimension in a radial direction of an electromagnetic brake, in a motor case.SOLUTION: A motor 1 with a brake has a motor case 5 for storing a motor part 9 and an electromagnetic brake 10, and a rotary shaft 6 that rotates together with a rotor 7 of the motor part 9. The electromagnetic brake 10 is positioned at an opposite output side L2 of the motor part 9. The motor case 5 comprises a side wall part 13 surrounding the electromagnetic brake 10 and an opposite output-side end wall part 15 opposing to the electromagnetic brake 10 from the opposite output side L2. The opposite output-side end wall part 15 comprises, at an opposing surface part 15a opposing to the electromagnetic brake 10, a contact part 89 that contacts the electromagnetic brake 10 and a recessed part 90 which is recessed toward the opposite output side L2 more than the contact part 89. A lead wire 21 is drawn out toward the opposite output side L2 from the electromagnetic brake 10, then drawn around in the recessed part 90 and the reaches a second extraction part 22 of the side wall part 13 of the motor case 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
