Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain counter flow more at a vaned diffuser of a fluid machinery comprising an open type impeller.SOLUTION: Each of the blades at a diffuser is formed to have such a shape that its profiles as a base are laminated in a blade height direction as they are moved in a plane perpendicular to the blade height direction. In this case, a component in a direction perpendicular to a blade chord direction where a front edge and a rear edge of the blade profile in a moving direction in a plane perpendicular to the blade height direction are connected and it is moved in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of an impeller is defined as a dihedral motion in a positive direction. Then, a distribution indicating a relation between a position in a blade height direction and a dihedral amount is defined as a dihedral distribution and this is increased from a hub surface toward a shroud surface, and decreased after it shows one maximum value P. In addition, the position in the dihedral distribution indicating the maximum value P is set on the hub surface side rather than a central position M in the blade height direction of the blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
