Abstract:
The present invention obtains an image processing device that is capable of recognizing, with higher reliability than conventional image processing devices, the appropriate classification for a three-dimensional object such as a pedestrian or a vehicle even in images with low contrast. This image processing device is characterized by being equipped with an image acquisition unit 100 for acquiring a plurality of images having different exposure conditions, an object candidate detection unit 200 for detecting object candidates from the images, and an object recognition unit 300 for recognizing objects using the plurality of images 110, 120 having different exposure conditions in accordance with a plurality of partial regions within the image regions that correspond to the object candidates.
