Abstract:
Water containing calcium and organic matter is biologically treated in a biological treatment device 11 and, after decomposition treatment of the organic matter, is subjected to coagulation/sedimentation treatment in a coagulation/sedimentation device 12, and bacterial cells are separated. After adding NaClO and a coagulant, the coagulation/sedimentation-treated water is supplied to a pretreatment device 13, and subjected to coagulation filtration or film treatment. HCl and a reducing agent are added to said pretreated water, which is passed through a decarbonation tower 14 for decarbonation treatment. A slime inhibitor is added to the decarbonation treated water, which is then passed through a softener device 15 and is passed, after addition of NaOH and a scale dispersant and pH adjustment to a high pH of approximately 10-10.5, to an active carbon tower 16 and an RO device 17.
