PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate an operation pattern of heating operation in batch operation with high flexibility.SOLUTION: A management device which monitors heating facilities performing a batch operation in which heating operations are repeatedly performed while one of a plurality of kinds of operation pattern is selected for each heating operation comprises: an input part which can input a process value of the heating facilities; a storage part which cumulatively stores input process values; a section extraction part which extracts a heating operation section in which a heating operation is performed in the batch operation from stored process values; a section specifying part which specifies a process value change pattern as temporal change in process value in the extracted heating operation section; and a section classifying part which groups, on the basis of each specified process value change pattern, respective heating operation sections corresponding to respective heating operations in a batch operation in a predetermined period into heating operation sections having process value change patterns of the identical kind.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
