PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from unexpectedly accelerating irrespective of intention of a driver.SOLUTION: A control device for a vehicle on which a driving source for supplying rotational driving force for traveling to driving wheels and a compressor operated by receiving rotational driving force from the driving source for compressing coolant of an air conditioner are mounted performs control of cutting output of the compressor for compression of the coolant on condition that accelerator opening has become equal to or greater than a second threshold value determined according to a coolant pressure after an amount of increase of acceleration opening per unit time became equal to or greater than a first threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
