Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtightness confirmation device capable of simplifying a process of confirming the airtightness of a seal arranged at a mold for vacuum die casting.SOLUTION: While being adhesively contacted with a seal arranged at a hole part opening to the outer face of a mold for vacuum die casting provided with a movable mold and a stationary mold, a pin is inserted into the hole part. A surrounding part surrounds the hole part inserted with the pin, and edge is adhered with the outer face to form a space in a gap with the outer face. A decompression part decompresses the space, and shows the movement of a gas at the inside of the space decompressed by the decompression part. Since airtightness can be confirmed per seal fitted to the hole part, the process can be simplified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
