Abstract:
To provide a method adding a new cable into a bundling hanger installed on a utility pole.SOLUTION: A cable passage tool comprises: an extensible operation rod which an operator holds and operates; a holding part which is attached to a tip of the operation rod; a rotary part which is rotatably held by the holding part and includes a plurality of columnar members extending from the revolving shaft to outside; a traction part which swingably engages with the tip part of each of the columnar members of the rotary part. The operator attaches a new cable or the like to a rear end of the traction part and operates the operation rod to insert the traction part into a bundling hanger. The operator operates the operation rod to move the cable passage tool toward a prescribed direction so that the bundling hanger enters into an entrance between the holding part and the traction part and exits from an outlet between the holding part and the traction part in company with rotation of the rotary part in which the traction part moves toward the prescribed direction within the bundling hanger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
