Abstract:
SOLUTION: A steering lock device includes a first engaging/disengaging surface in which: when a first ratchet pawl is located at an un-lock position, is locates at an outer peripheral side rather than a first ratchet gear; and when the first ratchet pawl is located at a lock position, is attachable/detachable to/from a first slide part slidable on a first support face of any one of a first tooth parts in a case of rotation of a steering shaft and a first stopper surface of any one of the first tooth parts. The steering lock device further includes a second engaging/disengaging surface in which: when a second ratchet pawl is located at an un-lock position, is locates at an outer peripheral side rather than a second ratchet gear; and when the second ratchet pawl is located at a lock position, is attachable/detachable to/from a second slide part slidable on a second support face of any one of a second tooth parts in a case of rotation of the steering shaft and a second stopper surface of any one of the second tooth parts.EFFECT: A rotatable amount of a steering shaft is restricted in a minute range, and mechanical strength of a ratchet pawl can make large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
