Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing an edible shark composition containing a component and a composition useful for human body from crude shark oil obtained from shark body.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method 1 of an edible shark oil composition, having a crude oil extraction process S1 for extracting crude shark oil from shark body, a standing process S2 for oil and liquid separating by standing the crude shark oil under a temperature condition in a range of 5°C to 35°C, a liquid part extraction process S3 for extracting a liquid part as a liquid crude shark oil under the temperature condition same as above from the solid and liquid separated crude shark oil, and a deodorization and decoloration process S4 for directly contacting the liquid crude shark oil and an absorbent under the temperature condition same as above and reducing an odorous component and a coloring component to obtain the edible shark oil composition, in which the edible shark oil composition has absorbance at wavelength of 420 nm of 0.1 or less and percentage content of n-3 polyvalent unsaturated aliphatic acids of 10 wt.% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
