PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power supply stabilization system and a renewable energy power generation system that are capable of excess power absorption and system stabilization by using a water electrolysis apparatus.SOLUTION: An electric power supply stabilization system 100 comprises: a renewable energy power generation system 110 that generates a power using renewable energy; a storage battery 122 that stores a generated power (P_GEN) of the renewable energy power generation system 110; a water electrolysis apparatus 124 that adsorbs electric power by electrolyzing water and generating hydrogen; and a system controller 121 that smooths the generated power (P_GEN) with a smoothing filter 121A, and effects control so that the storage battery 122 is charged when the generated power (P_GEN) of the renewable energy power generation system 110 is higher than a smoothed electric power (P_FLT) and the storage battery 122 is discharged when the generated power (P_GEN) of the renewable energy power generation system 110 is less than the smoothed electric power (P_FLT) or an adsorbed electric power (P_WE) is larger than the smoothed electric power (P_FLT).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
