Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily evaluate a noise performance of a tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for simulating a noise performance of a tire using a computer. The method includes a step in which a computer causes a tire model to be rolled on a road surface model and calculates a physical amount related to noise. A step of calculating the physical amount includes a step S44 of calculating vibration of the tire model, and a step S45 of calculating the physical amount related to the noise based on the vibration on a surface of a groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
