Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crimp terminal from being broken down during the assembling work of a terminal cap effectively, while inhibiting invasion of water and dust into the terminal part.SOLUTION: A terminal cap 30 for protecting a terminal 2 to which respective crimp terminals 11, 21 of multiple harnesses 10, 20 are fixed while separating the proximal ends 11A, 21A from each other includes a cover 31 covering at least a part of the terminal 2, and a hollow harness insertion part 32 projecting outward from the cover 31 and into which the harnesses 10, 20 are inserted. Bore diameter of the harness insertion part 32 is enlarged from the cover 31 side toward the projection end side, so that the inner peripheral surface does not touch the crimp terminals 11, 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
