Abstract:
To realize formation of a flat gear by a forging machine, to reduce forging load, to improve mold life, and to realize high-speed use by controlling the processing speed.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises: an initial pressure supply hydraulic pump; a die block cylinder which is mounted in a die block in a state integrated with a die into one unit, enters inside of the die due to high working pressure so as to provide back pressure against forming load to a blank, and comprises a back pressure tool jointed piston which is retracted from inside of the die due to low working pressure so as to release the blank from the back pressure; a pressure regulating hydraulic cylinder that sets the back pressure to a desired pressure; a releasing cylinder which release the back pressure; and a back pressure releasing mechanical valve. A hydraulic pressure is generated by the movement of the ram so that tooth portion of the spur gear may be formed by both of back pressure forging and dispersion forging in a mechanical hydraulic manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
