Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate extraction of a terminal fitting.SOLUTION: A terminal extraction jig 60 is used for a connector 10 comprising: an upper terminal 41 held by a lance mechanism 40; and upper and lower guide projections 24 and 26 located closer to an opening side than the upper terminal 41. The terminal extraction jig 60 is inserted into an outer housing 12 so as to release the lance mechanism 40. The terminal extraction jig 60 comprises: a jig body 63 which extends in the axial direction; first and second guide grooves 64 and 65 which are provided in the outer periphery of the jig body 63; and a release pin 66 which is provided at the tip of the jig body 63 and is parallel to a central axis C1 of the jig body 63. When releasing the lance mechanism 40, the jig body 63 is inserted into the outer housing 12 from the tip side so that the upper and lower guide projections 24 and 26 are slid on a first guide part 71, a third guide part 73, and a second guide part 72 in this order, thereby causing the release pin 66, facing the lance mechanism 40, to rotate around the central axis C1 of the jig body 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
