Abstract:
To prevent falling of seedling box baskets from a reserve seedling mounting device, where the reserve seedling mounting device is configured to be foldable when not in use.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter according to the present invention is equipped with a reserve seedling mounting device 1 at a machine body, the reserve seedling mounting device equipped with substantially rectangular parallelepiped seedling box baskets C for storing a plurality of nursery boxes N. The reserve seedling mounting device 1 includes; a base part 2 supported by a bearing part of the machine body; locking means 3 provided on the base part 2 and suspending one sides of opening frames Ca as crossbars provided on the upper sides in one side faces of the seedling box baskets C; and contact positioning means 4 disposed on a lower side of the locking means 3 in the base part 2 and bringing portions on the lower sides of the one sides in the seedling box baskets C into contact therewith and positioning them at base end sides of the one sides in plane view. The seedling transplanter is configured so that the seedling box baskets C are mounted, with upper-face openings of the opening frames Ca turned substantially upward. The base part 2 includes three sets of combination of the locking means 3 and the contact positioning means 4 on both side faces of the base part 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
