Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of testing the activity and safety of an agent for dissociating cells, simply and at low cost, in producing a sheet-shaped human cell culture for clinical.SOLUTION: A method for determining the concentration for suitable use of a cell dissociation agent for use in manufacturing a medical product using human cells comprises: applying a cell dissociation agent with a plurality of different concentrations to mouse fibroblasts; measuring the dissociation time necessary for dissociating the mouse fibroblasts; measuring the viability of the mouse fibroblasts after dissociation; and determining the concentration at which the viability is not substantially lowered and at which the dissociation time is shortest, as a concentration suitable for use.SELECTED DRAWING: None
